Mary Wrinkle is Mamie Gregory's younger sister, and was born in Saline Valley in 1876.  She moved to Darwin in 1910.  To keep up with the basket market, she started using two colors and weaving pictures of desert life.  Other tribes started using woodpecker feathers in their baskets also.  Mary's baskets were always in the shape of a small bowl and became very popular with collectors.  Mary Wrinkle died September 9, 1940
